She is the daughter of father Andrew Turner, who works for a pallet distribution company, and mother Sally Turner, a nursery school teacher. When she was at the age of two, she moved to Chesterton, Warwickshire. She has two brothers Will Turner and James Turner. She studied at Warwick Prep School and then she completed her education from King’s High School in Smith Street, Warwick.
Turner is well known as Sansa Stark’s role on the television show Game of Thrones from 2011 to 2019, and she was nominated for many awards and she won the Empire Hero Award, Huading Awards, Glamour Awards, Venice International Film Festival, and EWwy Award for this role. She made debut her film career with Fay Lila Delussey’s role in the movie Another Me in 2013. Sophie also gained fame for her role as Heather Agent 84 in the movie Barely Lethal in 2015, and she portrayed Debbie’s role in the film Time Freak in 2018.
Sophie began dating American singer Joe Jonas in 2016, and the couple got engaged in October 2017. The duo got married on May 1, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also dated to British-English singer James McVey from May 2014 to July 2014.
