She attended Stagedoor Manor in the Catskills and then enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Michele has been in a relationship with actor Theo Stockman from October 2009 to September 2011. She also dated actor Cory Monteith from 2011 to 2013. Later, She started dating Matthew Paetz in 2014 and they split in 2016. After that, she began a relationship with businessperson Zandy Reich and the couple got married on 9 March 2019. Michele gave birth to their first child a son Ever Leo on August 20, 2020.
