She is the daughter of mother Stephanie Stephens and father David Russell, a business executive. Russell has an older brother Todd Russell and a younger sister Julie Russell. She studied at Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, Florida, and then she joined Highlands Ranch High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Russell has been in a relationship with singer Tony Lucca from 1991 to 1999. She also dated actor Scott Speedman from 1999 to 2001. Later, she started a relationship with Shane Deary and they engaged with him in 2006. The couple got married on 14 February 2007, and they have two sons River Russell Deary and Sam Evans, and daughter Willa Lou Deary. She is in a relationship with actor Matthew Rhys since 2013.
Keri gained fame for Felicity Porter’s role in the television series Felicity from 1998 to 2002, and for which she won the Teen Choice Award and Golden Globe Award. Russell played Elizabeth Jennings’s role in the television series The Americans from 2013 to 2018, and she portrayed Lindsey Farris’s role in the film Mission Impossible III in 2006.
