She attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts, and then she studied at Pensacola Private School of Liberal Arts. She graduate from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.
Mixon began a relationship with Olympic athlete Breaux Greer in 2013 and the couple got married in October 2016. She gave birth to their first child a son Kingston Saint Greer in 2017, and they welcomed their second child a daughter Elektra Saint Greer, born in 2018.
Katy is very famous for her Victoria Flynn’s role in the television series Mike & Molly from 2010 to 2016, and she is also known for April Buchanon’s role in the television series Eastbound & Down from 2009 to 2013.
