Jenny Slate is an American actress, comedian, and author, also known by her birth name Jenny Sarah Slate. She was born in Milton, Massachusetts, United States on March 25, 1982. She is the daughter of mother Nancy Slate, a ceramicist and raku potter, and father Ron Slate, a corporate executive, businessman, CEO of a biotech company, published poet. Slate has two sisters Abigail Slate and Stacey Slate.
Slate began dating to film editor Dean Fleischer-Camp in 2010 and the duo got married on September 15, 2012. But, they split in 2016.
Jenny is well known for providing Marcel’s role in the movie Marcel the Shell with Shoes On in 2010, and she also famous for her role as Donna Stern in the movie Obvious Child in 2014. She made debut her acting career with the role of Member of Belt Tighteners in the television series Starved in 2005, and she began her career in the films with Zoe’s role in the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks Chipwrecked in 2011. She appeared Stella’s role in the television series Bored to Death from 2009 to 2010 and she also starred as Mona-Lisa Saperstein’s role in the television series Parks and Recreation from 2013 to 2015.
