Locklear graduated from Newbury Park High School, and she also attended the University of California, Los Angeles.

J. Hooker from 1982 to 1986. She began her acting career with Teenager’s role in the television series CHiPs in 1980, and she made debut her career in films with Victoria ‘Vicky’ Tomlinson McGee’s role in the movie Firestarter in 1984. She also played a memorable role as Amanda Woodward in the television series Melrose Place from 1993 to 1999, and she also starred as Caitlin Moore in the television series Spin City from 1999 to 2002.
