She is the daughter of father Edward Anderson, a film post-production company owner, and mother Rosemary Anderson, a computer analyst. She belongs to English, German, and Irish descent. Anderson has a younger brother Aaron Anderson, who died in 2011 due to brain tumor, and younger sister Zoe Anderson.
