Amanda Holden is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and writer. She was born in Portsmouth, United Kingdom on February 16, 1971, as Amanda Louise Holden. She is the daughter of father Frank Holden and mother Judith Mary Harrison. Holden has younger sister Debbie Holden, also a model. She studied as Swanmore College in Meon Valley and then she went to Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in North London. She also enrolled in Waltham Little Theatre Compan and then she joined The Jellicoe Theatre in Poole.
Holden began a relationship with comedian Les Dennis in 1995 and the couple got married on June 4, 1995. The couple split in 2002 and they divorced in 2003. Later, she started dating to record producer Chris Hughes in 2003, and they got engaged in February 2004. She gave birth to her first child, a daughter Alexa Louise Florence Hughes in January 20, 2006. The couple got married on December 10, 2008, at Babington House. She gave birth to her second child as daughter Hollie Rose Hughes on January 23, 2012.
Amanda is well known for her role as Judge on the television show Britain’s Got Talent in 2007, and she also gained fame for her role as Sarah Trevanion’s role in the film Wild at Heart from 2006 to 2008. She made debut her career with Pamela’s role in the film Intimate Relations in 1996 and she began her career on television as a contestant in the game show Blind Date on September 21, 1991.
