Amala Paul is an Indian film actress and model, who was born in Kochi, Kerala, India on October 26, 1991. Her mother is Annice Paul and father Paul Varghese, a singer. She has a younger brother Abijith Paul, an actor. She belongs to Christian ancestry. Paul completed her schooling from Nirmala Higher Secondary School Aluva, Kerala, and then she went to St. Teresa’s College, Kochi, Kerala.
Paul began dating to director A. L. Vijay in 2014, and she got married on 12 June 2014, and they divorced in 2016.
Amala started her career with Beena’s role in the Malayalam film Neelathamara in 2009, and she also worked in the Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industry. She played Sugandhi’s role in her debut Tamil film Veerasekaran in 2010, and she starred as Geetanjali in her first Telugu film Bejawada in 2011. Paul began her career in Kannada films with Nandhini’s role in the Kiccha Sudeep starer film Hebbuli in 2017. She also starred as Dr. Shalini Raghuvaran’s role in the films Velaiyilla Pattathari in 2014 and Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 in 2017. She portrayed Irene Gardner’s role in the film Oru Indian Pranayakatha in 2013, and she played Milli’s role in the movie Mili in 2015. Paul also played a memorable role in the movies include Mynaa (2010), Sindhu Samaveli (2010), Deiva Thirumagal (2011), Run Baby Run (2012), and Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi (2012).
